I am so glad that we celebrate Christmas because of Jesus…because without him and his story, I would not make it through. What does it take to bring happiness at Christmas time? Read the rest of this entry »

On Saturday October 20, 2012, Judge Andrew Napolitano posted an article from The Hill.  It states “International Monitors at US Polling Spots Draw Criticism from Voter Fraud Groups.”

United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups, a concern raised by civil rights groups during a meeting this week. The intervention has drawn criticism from a prominent conservative-leaning group combating election fraud.

What government agency, what President of the United States of America, would allow interference by a group of foreign nationals?  Note, this is not to make sure the Black Panthers are not suppressing or intimidating the vote.  NO, it’s about conservatives who will be monitoring the polls for voter fraud.  Of what is President Obama’s administration afraid?  What governor in any state of this country would allow this? I would think they…

Is there a dilemma for the Christian and voting for Obama? Not really!

President Obama has told us he is a Christian. Do we take that at face value?  No!  Scripture tells us:

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV)
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,  that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Our current President, Barack Obama, does not believe that.  In fact, he mocks scripture.

Did you see that? Obama mocked the Sermon on the Mount, the very words of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, the God-man who died for me, you and Obama. The very God he says he follows, yet blasphemed Him saying,  “it’s so RADICAL it’s doubtful that our own Department of Defense would survive its application.”

So tell me Mr. Obama, YOU are…

“The future must not belong to those that would slander the prophet of Islam.” President Barack Hussein Obama

Causal knowledge of the tenets of Christianity would reveal that a practicing Christian would never make a statement like this. Any observant Muslim would believe Christianity slanders the name of Mohammad. Christians believe in one God and the one way to God  is through His son, Jesus Christ. Our God is the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, not Allah.

Jesus answered, “I am THE way and THE truth and THE life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

This statement alone leaves no room for the prophet of Islam.

Wallbuilders has put together a list of over 50 acts by Obama that shows his hostility to the Bible and the Christian faith.  How can any person that professes to be a Christian vote for a man openly hostile to the Christian faith?…

I was reminded when talking to a friend that we must seek God to find out what we are to pray. We seek, We ask…he answers. That night, when I asked, I immediately heard “Matthew 8:6 and when I went to that scripture and read the whole story, it “became” the Holy Spirit inspired Word or “Rhema” Word of God.

I am reminded again that it is arrogant, stupid and pointless to pray without asking God how to pray for someone or something.

If we pray from our own knowledge, the things we read Read the rest of this entry »

No FEAR….Trepidation.

No FEAR….Trepidation

I refuse to be afraid….how many words are there that describe fear…Lots and Lots…..“Trepidation” is one I seem to be experiencing. It has nothing to do with God…for His Word says to not be afraid….Do not fear….

Yet I look at our Nation, this Nation that was formed because our God brought it into existence through the hearts and minds of men and women who loved him and sought a place of refuge and strength. Formed through prayers to, and direct leading from a God that loved us, and desired for us a place that was blessed and full of PEACE!

What has happened to America? How in the world have people failed to recognize what they have been given and think it will just go on forever without their help?

I am concerned for the younger generation when I see that their lives revolve around the games they play. Every minute that is available is spent playing games. Few of them watch the news or analyze the activities of the government. A dumbed down generation cannot conceivably Read the rest of this entry »

Found this on Facebook…Had to share…

A single guy decided life would be more fun
if he had a pet.

So he went to the pet store and told the owner
that he wanted to buy an unusual pet.

After some discussion,
he finally bought a talking centipede, (100-legged bug),
which came in a little white box to use for his house.

He took the box back home, found a good spot for the box,
and decided he would start off by Read the rest of this entry »
