No Words?

I always struggle with words…not really words, but rather the right words.  The right words that help and not hurt, the words that accomplish the goal, without people thinking I am off my rocker.  Words that don’t shock or scare someone.  Words that bring peace to a troubled heart.    Yes, it matters….

Yesterday a prayer request came in….  It is was one of those that everyone looked at and no one prayed.  It was difficult.  The poster shared some very private information in this circle of friends, and needed prayer for a family member.  It was a devastating occurrence in the family, and this family had been hit with so many sorrows over the past months, even years.

When a prayer request comes in and people are in desperate need of prayer, it is a shame to not pray.  It is so difficult for us, because we always think we might pray or say something that makes it worse, or that we just don’t know how to pray.

“Blink”  “light on”  You don’t need to know how to pray.  You don’t need to have perfect words.  Yes, I do know that almost everyone prayed…just didn’t post it.  I am sure that the cry went out to God to help this person and help this family.  There are others who see immediately what the “real” problem is and know what to do about it, but the family and the person may not understand the prayer, if you pray it.

You must…we are called to pray for each other.  We are called to bear one another’s burdens, we are called by our God to Love one another.

There is sadness that touches the heart when you have poured out your soul and no one posts anything. Never, ever let that happen.  Take the time to post something.  At the very least post something that says….I am thinking and praying for you and for whoever the need is for.  I am asking God to intervene in this person’s life.  I am asking God to do what needs to be done to draw this person to Him.  I am praying that this person will get through this “situation.”

We will never know the best way to pray…So we call out to Holy Spirit and ask HIM to put HIS WORDS in our thoughts, and fingers while we keyboard the prayer.  Then ask if there is anything else HE wants us to say….If so…add it… If not…Click POST.

God put you there, in front of that screen and that post because HE wants to partner with you in blessing someone else.  Just trust that what you say and what you do, is right!  Holy Spirit can take any words you post and anoint them and empower them to meet that person’s need.

God is Amazing!  He knows everything.  He can fix anything we mess up.  He can provide all that is needed in every situation and in every need.  HE IS ALL POWERFUL and NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD.

We have all the faith we need.  Pray the prayer… Don’t worry about your prayer being wrong or coming across wrong……Then….TRUST GOD FOR THE RESULTS! Greater things will you do than what I have done, declared Jesus…..  JUST BELIEVE IT!

John 14: 12-14

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in me in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Shhhh….Listen… I hear the sound of a trumpet. LOUD! STARTLING! CALLING! Breathe…I must breathe…I have been expecting this call to come almost every day since I was 16 years old. I had no idea where I would be when the call came, perhaps it would happen when I was dancing, or day dreaming, sleeping, working, or perhaps when I was horseback riding. I didn’t know when it would come, neither did anyone else. Would I be 17 or 24 or 50 or when? All I really knew was that it would come in my lifetime. I read about the sound so many years ago, and I longed for that sound. I knew that when it came the world would change. It would indicate a major shift in the control of the world. Evil would then take full control of everything. All that once was beautiful and peaceful would be removed, and the people would be subject to the screaming Ominous darkness that suffocates and steals laughter, love and hope. What was left could only be described as hell on earth. I longed for that, surely didn’t envy those who had chosen to reject Jesus and snub His forgiveness and mercy,

The sound I  awaited,  would mean that in the blink of an eye…….. I would join so many others in the air….I would fly.

I know that you show me things that are happening and I know that you reveal the plans of the enemy to destroy, to kill or to steal. Your children have prayed for the election of Donald Trump….and now we learn that there is a petition that over 4 million people have signed that say Donald Trump is “unfit” to serve as President and that Hillary won the Popular vote so she should be the President.
Fortunately we have an Electoral College system of choosing a President. It is clear that Donald Trump has won that vote, however the map may show Trump as the winner, but in actuality he has not yet been “elected” because the Electors that have been chosen from each state do not vote until December 19th.
Lord, there is a fine if Electors do not vote for the person the public voted for, and in the past it has occurred that Electors went rogue and didn’t vote for the person their state voted for and received the most votes. Under normal circumstances this would not be an issue, but this year the people who didn’t vote for hillary and are now upset are making moves to “steal” the election from Trump.
In addition to the petition and what concerns me the most is that there has now been a list of Electors and their cities published nationwide. what that means is that “anyone” and especially those with power can approach and offer payoffs to those who would change their states votes. Yes, that is bribery, but those who wish to hold power will do anything to keep it. The other possibility, should bribery not work to change votes, is threats and intimidation. Those who won’t cave to the bribe, just may cave should they or their families be threatened. God…Help us! We so need you to intervene in this situation. We all know that nothing is impossible for you…Nothing. You can keep this all from happening.
Lord, I ask that you will call out your people to stand in the gap, to Pray and thwart the plans of Soros, and the Clintons, and others who want to control our people, our Nation and our World. Lord, only You can fix this. We ask that you will do this.

Lord we stand here with our Armor on. We are here to do battle for Your Kingdom. We Cancel the plans those in power have to “steal” this election. We pray for truth to come forth, and that any and all attempts to destroy Trump, steal the election, or intimidate, bribe or threaten the Electors will be shouted from every news source, even those who supported hillary. Lord your Word says that You are the same Yesterday, today and forever. Your Word tells us if we humble ourselves and pray that you will hear, forgive and heal our Land…
I don’t doubt you Lord, but I know that you expect me to do my part. You expect me to pray your prayers, you expect me to believe…to trust you to handle everything. You are the mighty God, there is none stronger or more wise. You know the enemies plans. You know this evil being who has no “stop” button without your force. You tell us that it isn’t by power or might, but it is by your spirit.
Holy Spirit…Give us your wisdom and show us how to pray to fulfill your plan for the defeat of this evil and unscrupulous liar, thief and killer.

Lord for the Electors….I dispatch cloaking angels who will hide them from protesters, from those who would try to bribe them and those who would terrorize them or their families, or threaten them with exposure of some past impropriety.

Lord I send angels of Safety to keep the Electors and their families safe from any attempt to harm them, or intimidate them.

Lord, release the spirit of burning to burn up the works of darkness (ps 140:10). Let your fire burn up the wicked spirits (Psalms 106:18) A fire goes before You, oh Lord and burns up Your enemies (Psalms 97:3) Lord, release YOUR FIRE and burn up the works of darkness. Lord, I Pray…..Release a Thunderbolt of fire into all headquarters, and secret places where evil plans are developed, as well as into the midst of the Rioters and those who seek to Destroy Your Chosen Servants, Donald Trump and Mike Pence! Father, I ask in the Name of Jesus! Amen and AMEN!

No more fence-sitting! Time to decide…Am I part of the solution or just a victim?

Well…another terrorist attack!  This time in Nice.  the body count is at 80 and may increase.  Over a hundred have been injured.

Who takes a truck and drives over people?  Our God is weeping over the loss of life and the inhumanity of man.  He is broken-hearted….  He brings life and these terrorists only know to kill.  Our God is NOT the god they worship by killing everyone they don’t agree with.  What a terrible thing that even little children are brought up to hate, when Jesus left heaven and came to earth so that we could be free from Sin and Death.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Nice, all those who have lost loved ones, friends and neighbors.  The pain of this evil, will continue to forever in their hearts, minds and memories.  It is heartbreaking!

Is it enough to pray?  What do we do now?  Will we pray for peace for those that mourn. Of course!  However there is nothing we can do at this point to reverse the attack, remove the pain and sorrow.  So what can we do?  Are we willing to do it?

There has to be a new plan.  The old one is not working.  Yes, it brings comfort and peace in the midst of all this trouble.  Many will write “words” that deliver peace, but they have no answers.

One of the things we Christians are called to do is to share Jesus and his forgiveness, healing,  and Grace.  Someone reading this today, may not even wake up tomorrow.  We never know which day we will leave this earthly life.  If people don’t have a personal relationship with JESUS, they are not going to enjoy eternity at all….they may think they are, but they are not.  As Christians we need to be sharing this fact with others.  Their eternity can be changed by our sharing Christ’s forgiveness and love with them.  So just do it.

As Christians we have a responsibility to make a difference while we are here on earth.  The battle against Satan (and this cannot be disputed, because the Bible clearly says that Satan came to KILL, STEAL and DESTROY)  must be fought in the spiritual realm, not in the physical.  You and I are not going to be called to go out and kill terrorists.  But we are called to go to battle in the spiritual realm against them.

There is armor for this battle.  You will find it in Ephesians 6.  There is a helmet of salvation, there is a breastplate of righteousness, there is a belt of truth, there are shoes to protect our toes from being stepped on.  There is also a SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, WHICH IS the WORD OF GOD.  Yes…the Bible is our SWORD.  We have to learn how to use it.  And there is a Shield of FAITH.  What kind of fool would we be if we, knowing that Jesus died for us, and loves us more than anyone, even ourselves, is not trustworthy.  He is able to teach us his ways, He provides WISDOM to fight the fight.  So it is time for us to begin to pray with power.

We seem to play this little game, not quite truly believing that God answers prayers.  We pray or say something like, Lord please heal so and so.  Or please keep us safe.

The Bible says that the Kingdom of HEAVEN suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.   What in the world does that mean?  Well it means we need to fight for what God wants us to fight for.

It is finding the scripture that deals with an issue and praying it back to God.  Reminding him of that scripture and that he made the promise.  Sometimes we just have to demand that God answers our prayers.  An example would be…”You said God, that if I have  faith the size of a mustard seed, that I could move mountains.  This Mountain needs to move.

Right now, God wants us to move some mountains.  We need to pray for our countries…they are under terrorist attacks.  Not just America, but France, Germany, and numerous other places.  The Word of God says…A fire goes before you, Oh Lord, and burns up your enemies.(Psalms 97:3)  Go before us Lord and burn up your enemies who are destroying your creation, your people and the people who have not yet heard of you.  Let your fire protect me and cover me.  (exodus 14:24)  Release the spirit of burning to burn up the works of darkness(Psalms140:10)    Lord, Let righteous men with YOUR WISDOM sit in the high governmental places of my City and Nation (Proverbs 9:3)  Father cause these men clothed in your Righteousness to arise and serve according to your Will.

Lord, teach us to pray.  Teach us your ways.  Teach us how to defend our families, our churches and our nations.  Teach us how to use your Sword of the Spirit to change our world.

Lord….Your word says in 2 Chronicles …..If my people, who are called by my name will HUMBLE themselves and Pray and seek my face and TURN from their wicked ways, Then you will HEAR from heaven, You will FORGIVE our Sin, and YOU will HEAL our land…..Lord your Word says it….There are millions of Christ followers calling out to you.  Heal our Land.  Our Land and our people are in desperate need.  We need you and we need your divine protection.  Move Lord…according to your Word!  WE ASK AND PRAY in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!

You and I are called to further the Kingdom of our Lord.  We do that by taking our relationship with Jesus seriously and being willing to do what he has for each of us to do.  We do that by learning the Ways of God, and Learning the Word of God, reaching out to others and fighting an unseen war with the enemies of God.

Let’s all learn more, grow in HIS Grace and be wise.  Lord, this is our prayer…Teach us how to pray with power and integrity. ….Always listening for your voice and walking with you where you go!

Sometimes we have to care for ourselves!

Awakening comes in a variety of ways…sometimes it is a thought that passes through our overactive brain, sometimes it comes in the words of another, sometimes we just have to trust that God will show us what to think, what to do, and when to do it according to his plan for our lives. The day I speak of below was a new beginning….a story….an interlude in life. I just wanted to share it with you. Perhaps somewhere in this story, you will recognize the need to take care of Yourself too!

Today was a different day. My friend and I spent some time in prayer. We laughed and we talked a bit
even though time was short. My friend mentioned something he had learned about Intercession. As
Christians we tend to pray for each other, ourselves and others who ask for prayer, because they know
we will.

So our conversation was about intercession…What is that….Exactly? We always “think” that it is “going
to bat” for someone. We think of it as going to God on someone else’s behalf. And it is. Isn’t that how
we pray. Do we not ask God to intervene in someone’s life, change their circumstance, fix their broken
heart, heal their body, help them to find Jesus love and peace, salvation and grace. Yes, that is exactly
what we believe “intercession” is .

To the extent that we intercede for another, we also seem to “feel” the sorrow, the sickness, the pain
that someone is feeling. It weighs us down. We struggle because we hear all the evils of the world, the
sin of others, the pain of sickness….the list goes on. The weight is almost unbearable. This should not
be. Jesus is the one who said to cast our cares upon HIM because he cares for us. Jesus is the one who
said that his burden is light. Jesus is the one who calls us to rely on him, trust in him, believe his Word
and rest in him. The weight is just too much for any human to carry. Jesus did not create us or call us to
carry the burdens.

So what we have been doing is half right and half wrong…or is it mostly wrong? It is our love and
compassion that calls us to love one another, and bear one another’s burdens. That part is right. So
what part is wrong? The wrong part is allowing the weight of sickness, needs, sin, pain, loss to be upon
our shoulders. In the process of caring for others, we have not cared for ourselves.

For the past 3 months, I have been incredibly sick. Bronchitis that led to nasal and head congestion, loss
of hearing because the sickness was overcoming me. The antibiotics, the steroids, the herbal teas, hot
toddies, essential oils, snorting salt water, heating pads on ears, coughing until I would vomit…Yea..I was
really sick. I now believe that today was a breakthrough for me.

My friend suggested that all the prayers I pray for people allow satan to attack me and attach to me
because I enter into that place where I take on their sorrows and pains and illness. It clings…kinda like
fish slime, perhaps like a plastic wrap stuck to itself, or perhaps like the grease that clings to your hands
after you have made hamburger patties. Yea…when evil sticks, it affects you in ways you must get clear
of. Gotta get it off, and if you don’t you either smell like fish or you can’t breathe or you are just
covered in feelings of YUCK.

It is important to recognize what has happened. For years, with our team of Prayer Warriors, we have
known that after ministering to people we must “Wash ourselves in the Word” or we will end up
depressed, out of sorts, ill, or distracted. The effects can be anything…and we always ended our
ministry time by asking God to cleanse us with his Word. It would depend on what scriptures he would
bring to mind and we would pray those over us. We relied on Holy Spirit to bring to mind the scriptures
we would need to cleanse ourselves. One of the things we found was that when we were out of sorts
spiritually then we weren’t able to hear HIS voice, we weren’t able to recognize the deep issues
someone might have… We weren’t always right, not everyone was healed, or not every need was met,
but many were. Many people who were troubled were set free, many who didn’t know Jesus in a
personal powerful way, trusted HIm with their lives. It was good! The Power was always Jesus, who
used us to meet others needs. We humbly recognized that without HIM, we could do nothing.

For many years, I have administered a Prayer Service. People would e-mail me, call me, text me their
needs or requests for others and I would send the prayer requests out to a group of Awesome Prayer
Warriors who faithfully pray for those needs. They bless so many with their prayers, they go to the
throne of God on behalf of so many people they have never met and may never know this side of
heaven. I am honored to be able to connect the two. I have been blessed immeasurably by those who
need and those who pray. It has been wonderful to watch the miracles of God. I have been surprised by
the swiftness of Answered prayer, and how God has worked out the impossible. He gets all the glory,
but for my part in it, it is just incredible and I am honored to have even a small part.

Intercession then is merely connecting. It is like a car coming to an intersection and not knowing
whether it should go straight or turn left or right. As people who pray for others, our job is not to stop
that car and hold on to it. Our job is to direct it to the place it needs to go and send it on its way.

Our job is to speak the Words of Jesus…Be healed in the Name of Jesus! Rise up and Walk in Jesus
Name. Release her/him and let her/him go In the Name of Jesus! Once the work is done…let it go.

At no time, not ever, not today or tomorrow, not yesterday or in years to come will it ever be the
pray-ers responsibility to heal or fix or restore or make things new. The pray-er is not responsible for
the result. That is Jesus Job…All of which was completed at the Cross.

As people who pray…we do what we are called to do…Intercede, pray, speak words of healing and
wholeness and pass it on!

Not by power or might…but by my Spirit says the Lord…

We cannot defeat Islamic Terrorists. We cannot know when or where an attack comes.

We cannot, as Americans expect God to care for our nation when our president has declared that we are NOT a Christian Nation. We cannot expect God to intervene when we have removed his 10 commandments, removed prayer from school, removed nativity scenes, removed crosses or allowed disrespect for parents, teachers, and all authority. We have undeniably caved to political pressure because it is easier or because of fear of reprisal. Like Peter…we have denied knowing Jesus and standing up for him. Yea, I know…so sad!

The problem of hatred will not just disappear. It will not go away because we are talking about it and we are angry. It will take a miracle! Yes, we might be able to contain some of it, but not all. When the word goes out to attack, all those jihadists that were trained in jihad camps will be set loose…it will be a day like we have never seen or imagined. It may be similar to the day that King Herrod ordered the death of all the little boys 2 years or younger. There was great weeping and much sorrow. Think about it…imagine it was one of your children…. Many will die. Any one of us could lose our life that day or lose someone we dearly love. Hatred and killing for a cause cannot be extinguished by kindness or love.

Yes, we need to love our enemy, but love is to stand for Jesus. It is to pray for those who are killing others for their cause. We must pray differently than ever before. We must pray that Jesus reveal himself to those who would kill in jihadist attacks and change their hearts and minds and desires. We must claim protection for ourselves and we must trust God to care for us and our families. We must seek divine leading in our prayers, for the enemy is wily, wise and unscrupulous….but God is able. Nothing is impossible for him. He has changed the hearts of Kings and leaders, and killers, and all kinds of people who we consider “worse than us.” The entire human race is swathed in sin of various types. Jesus has a lot to say about that, in that he said that none of us are righteous…no not one… EXCEPT we ask God’s forgiveness and turn our lives over to him. It is not an easy decision to make, but it is the only reasonable one. Without Christ….the goodness you have known on earth is the only goodness you will know. We unfortunately have a president who favors the false god allah, and only uses the Name of Jesus when he wants to manipulate Christians, using the Bible to convince us that we need to do it his way. SAD…yes it is… He has never called for prayer for the nation, but we have to understand that after cancelling the national day of prayer, he then welcomed the muslims to the white house, and he spent time with them. He bows to the imams and religious islamic leaders, but he hasn’t given any acknowledgement to the God under whom this Nation was created.

So what do we do? We gather our friends, and anyone who will join us. We gather together and seek God…Seek JESUS…seek him, and pray to him and ask him to intervene in our families, towns, cities, states and Nation. We need God back in America…We need him here now, before all hell breaks out in this country. We need political leaders who will also join in and lead in prayer for America.

Yes, there are common sense ways of dealing with evil. It must be destroyed. so we stand and we fight. We stop immigration. We gather those who seek to destroy our nation and our way of life and deport them. We track down terrorists and stop them.

God expects us to take care of our families, and he does not expect that we should put a nest of rattlers loose in our house, and if someone else does, snakesthen we need to hunt them down and get them gone! That is love…loving our families, our neighbors, friends and fellow citizens. We need to take care of each other.

Let us begin now and pray. God has said….and he is talking to Christians…If my people, who are called MY Name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then HE will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land…. This is our land…HE WILL DO WHAT HE SAYS, but we have to do our part! The time is now because if not now, WHEN?
